Columbian is a Pioneer Cemetery. It was founded originally as the Love Cemetery by Capt. Lewis Love, one of the first settlers of the area. Those buried here include veterans of every war since the Civil War. Research is currently underway into the genealogy and history. Contributions of information are welcomed. How you can help: There are a variety of ways you can assist us achieve our goals of preserving and restoring the cemetery and its records. Please see the Future Projects and Donation Info page for more information. Big or small, anything you can do to help would be wonderful and very welcomed. To volunteer for clean-ups at the cemetery, please contact us. Shopping Time: We've started a Cafepress online store, where you can buy Columbian Cemetery calendars, t-shirts, coffee mugs, bags, and a bunch of other stuff, all to benefit the cemetery.
