Harold Mason COONS was born 06 Aug 1897 in Canton KS to Richard P. COONS and Mabel D. COOK. After his mother and two young siblings died ca 1903, Harold moved with his father to Portland OR. He and his wife Vilda KNIGHT had a son Harold Mason COONS, Jr., who was born 19 Aug 1920. A year later, the baby fell from the porch, and died of a fractured skull. He was buried in Dayton WA. Ten years later, in 1931, Harold Sr. drowned in Portland.
