Where: Oregon
John Windle was born in Ohio on March 20, 1822. He later settled in Missouri, and married Isabella or Isabel Dodson in 1842. She was born January 25, 1824. They crossed the plains to Oregon in 1852. Mr. Windle was a farmer. They had eight children. John died October 14 or 15, 1902; his wife died December 23, 1904.
