Justine Schrassear Holland
Born: June 22, 1833
Where: Poland
Died: 16, 1921
Where: Portland, Oregon
Mrs. Justine Schrassear Holland was born in Poland, June 22, 1833. In 1893 she
and her family emigrated and homesteaded in Leduc, Alberta, where they were
farmers. She and "Fred" had 3 sons, my grandfather being named John, and 5
daughters. After her husband Godfried died in 1909 she moved to 1026 North
Leonard in Portland to live with her sister. She died April 16, 1921 at age 87
of arterio sclerosis and acute bronchitis. Her funeral was April 19, 1921 and
buried in the Columbian Cemetery.
