Helen I. Ludy died Feb. 21, 2001, at age 98. There will be no service. Mrs. Lucy was born May 12, 1902 in Duluth, Minn., and moved to Portland as a child. Her maiden name was Edmondson. She graduated from James John High School and received a degree from San Jose Teachers College. She was an elementary school teacher until 1947. In 1946, she married Albert Lucy; he died in 1982. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Interment is in Columbia Cemetery. Arrangements are by St. John's Funeral Home.
